While we will face many challenges at all stages of our lives, we need not endure them alone. There are few things we cannot bear in the presence of a safe and caring other. It is a true privilege for me to be a part of this life-changing experience for my clients, wherein they come to realize that they are not alone in their journey towards better health and human flourishing. I focus on the therapeutic relationship in a person-centered approach to counseling that creates space for empathy and accountability to coexist and provides the backdrop for growth and change over time.

I enjoy helping young people and adults dealing with anxiety and perfectionism, experiencing relationship issues, and forging through tricky life transitions. With 15 years combined experience as a teacher and school counselor prior to starting at CarePoint, I am comfortable and happy working with adolescents who are navigating school-related concerns, difficult social dynamics, identity issues, and learning challenges.

I received my Masters of Education (School Counseling) degree from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, in 2021. I love to spend time with my amazing husband, my incredibly imaginative daughter, and my vroom-vroom loving son. You may also find me reading, playing the piano with my church band, dreaming about where I’d like to travel next, or attempting to learn how to garden in my free time.
