Kristin Pirrie received her Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 1994. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri, Kristin’s approach to counseling begins with curiosity. She values a client’s perspective about the issues that lead to counseling. This perspective is key in developing a plan for change.
Whether you are a teen, single adult, couple, or parents with children, Kristin will candidly share with you that, with your help, the greatest goal is to “work herself out of a job.” To that end, when partnering with Kristin, you will be offered a kind of therapy that utilizes and enhances the strengths you have, analyzes the fears that paralyze and isolate you, and explores the new skills that allow for emotionally corrective experiences.
Kristin lives in St. Louis with her husband of more than 25 years and five children. Kristin brings balance to life by participating in church ministries, running for mental health, playing music, sports and poker with her children, and periodically trying new things that scare her like knitting and rock climbing.
