What to Expect

To feel welcome and comfortable

Each therapist at CarePoint has carefully attempted to make their counseling office warm and inviting. We legitimately care about you and understand that coming to counseling can be scary. It is our goal to help you feel comfortable enough to welcome change that is sometimes difficult.

To be respected and valued

We believe that all people are created in God’s image and are therefore valuable and worthy of respect. No matter what problem you are facing, you will not be judged or ridiculed by your therapist. You can expect to build a solid, transformative relationship with your therapist—a relationship that will play a vital role in the therapy that you do at CarePoint.

Your therapist will make every effort to respect you by beginning and ending your sessions on time. These sessions will last from 45–90 minutes, depending on the type of service you are receiving.

To be challenged toward growth

Everyone has in common a certain resistance to change. You can expect that your therapist will challenge you to grow and change in ways that you may not have considered. This experience will be enlightening for you and may bring hope where only despair reigned before. Your therapist has been trained to challenge you in the most caring and respectful way possible. You can rest assured that you will be honored as you are challenged.
