It is my deepest delight to be a lifelong learner of the human heart, its longings, wounds, and wirings—to be curious about why people do what they do.
In the face of hurt and harm, you may have adapted to pain by developing unique strengths, gifts, and ways of coping that served you well for a time but now seem to cause you difficulties. You may find yourself carrying around burdens you were never built to withstand. My hope as a counselor is to create a space for healing that happens when we are reoriented toward what is truly good for us. Safe relationships and personal embodiment are necessary for healing as is the risk inherent in connecting to self and others. I believe this risk is worth the reward, and it is an honor for me to watch my clients benefit from their hard work.
I have a special interest in working with individuals navigating trauma and abuse recovery, eating disorders, addictions, anxiety, depression, infertility, or pregnancy loss.
I received my Masters of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2021. Outside of work, I enjoy writing, aerial arts, soaking up creation, raising orphaned kittens, and spending time with family and friends.
